BARAMULLA: A man was killed after being hit by a speedy vehicle in north Kashmir’s Sopore area on Friday resulting in his on spot death.
Sources said that a man identified as Abdul Rashid Ganie, 50 son of Mohammad Sultan Ganie resident of Lalad Sopore was hit and injured by a speedy vehicle bearing registration number JK15A-3006 at Lalad area of Sopore when he was crossing the road on Friday morning.
The people shifted him to nearby sub district hospital Sopore where doctors declared him dead. The driver of the vehicle has been arrested by the police.
Sopore police register a case and start its investigation.
