BARAMULLA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo Wednesday chaired Clinical Registering Authority (CRA) Committee meeting to discuss various measures for the registration, renewal of clinics and polyclinics in the district. On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion was held wherein DC formulated several guidelines for the proper registration process of clinics and nursing homes.
He also directed the establishment of a sub-committee for inspection of several criteria needed for establishment of clinics.
Dr Itoo further directed the concerned to work in coordination and said that such a move will help in strengthening the health care system besides through speedy and prompt service delivery. He also emphasised upon the concerned authorities to ensure the implementation of COVID-19 SOPs at the ground level so that risk of infection is mitigated.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, CMO, DHO, DySP Headquarters of Baramulla and Sopore besides other concerned functionaries.
