SRINAGAR: The Department of YSS Srinagar kick starts its in Inter Zonal Block sports activities on Monday in Srinagar.
The activities were inaugurated by DYSSO Srinagar Balbir Singh.
The tournaments were organized in Cricket, football & Kho Kho respectively. The matches were played in different venues under the supervision of Zonal Physical officers of different sports zones of District Srinagar.
Kho Kho matches for Girls were played at GHSS Chattabal Srinagar in which 8 Teams of different zones participated.
In the tournament zone Gulab Bagh defeats zone Batmaloo, Zone Nishat defeats Zone Eidgah, Zone Amirakadal defeats Zone Zaldagar and Zone Hawal defeats Zone Rainawari.
The Football tournament was held at Gindun Ground Rajbagh.
In the tournament 5 teams participated. Zone Zaldagar defeats Zone Batmaloo, Zone Hawal defeats zone Nishat and Zone Amirakadal was given Walkover.
The Cricket Tournament was held at two venues BHSS Zaidbal and BHSS MPML, Bagh-e-Dilawar Khan. The results are as Eidgah defeats zone Rainawari, zone Hawal defeats zone Nishat Zone Batmaloo defeats zone Gulab Bagh, Zone Amirakadal defeats zone Zaldagar.
The final matches will be played today..
