Traders Federation call on DC Kupwara

KUPWARA: A delegation of representatives of Traders Federation, Kupwara and Handwara today met Deputy Commissioner, Anshul Garg here and apprised him about the issues they face in view of restrictions re-imposed in the district to contain Covid-19.
The delegation raised several issues during the meeting that included a relief package for hawkers and traders whose business got hit due to lockdown.
They also demanded easing out of restrictions for running their business establishments segment wise with adherence to COVID norms.
After giving patient hearing to traders issues, the Deputy Commissioner assured them of necessary support from district administration.
He instructed the delegation members to submit detailed SOPs about operating their businesses segment wise while strictly following the COVID-19 precautionary norms.
The DC added that the sampling of traders have to be given priority, only then opening up of shops could be considered.
