Three clinics sealed in Pampore for violating Covid-19 SOP

PAMPORE: Authorities have sealed three diagnostic centres for violating standard of Procedures (SOP) during an inspection in Saffron town Pampore on Wednesday.
The inspection was held by a joint inspection team of Revenue department Pampore and medical team from Pulwama, headed by Tehsildar Pampore and BMO Pampore Arshid Siddiqui.
The team had decided to check whether various SOP’s regarding prevention of Covid-19 were being followed or not by these health related agents.
“ When we conducted the inspection many private health clinics were found violating SoP’s set by administration ,” said Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din, adding that three clinics including a dental clinic were sealed becauses fled before the arrival of the inspection team.
He told Kashmir Reader that the inspection team collected a fine amounting to the tone of nearly rupees 39000.
He further said that the drive would continue till the SOP’s were followed in letter and spirit so that no patient visiting these clinics would get infected by Covid-19 virus.
“ It is our duty to help people avoid contact with covid 19 patients that might visit these hospitals,” he said.
The precautions are being taken in order to contain covid-19 infection rate which has claimed over four lakh lives world wide and nearly eight thousand in India only.
The inspection was carried out under the supervision of Deputy CMO Pulwama, , Tehsildar Pampore, Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din, BMO, Pampore, Dr Arshid Sidiqi, and Nodal officer, RBSK, Dr Majid.
