3 persons sent home after recovery in Pampore

PAMPORE: Two persons from Namblabal Pampore area of Pulwama who were infected with COVID-19 have been discharged from Kongposh hospital Pampore on Wednesday after they recovered from the infection.
Officials in Pampore informed Kashmir Reader that a father son duo from Namlabal area were found positive for COVID-19 last month after which they were isolated at the hospital.
“Their samples returned negative for three consecutive turns after which they were declared to have recovered,” officials said. Adding both had travel history.
One person from Parigam village of Pulwama was also discharged from hospital after recovering from COVID-19.
“This is the first batch which was discharged after recovery, they completed the prescribed 14 days of quarantine and their samples returned negative,” Tehsildar Pampore, Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din told Kashmir Reader.
“This is a happy movement for us, I congratulate all quarantine staff, doctors , paramedics and field staff,” he said.
He informed that Pampore tehsil had 17 cases out of which two recovered, one died and 14 are under treatment.
The trio were given warm send off by Tehsildar Pampore, Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din, BMO Pampore, Dr Arshid Siddiqui, Nodal Officer Bilal Ahmad and Medical officer Dr Mohammad Ashraf.
