PAMPORE: The Jammu and Kashmir police has seized 12 vehicles in Pampore area of southern Pulwama district on Friday. The vehicles were seized for violating prohibitory orders.Officials told Kashmir Reader that during checking by police and revenue department at Khrew Chowk in Drangbal area of Pampore.
SHO Pampore Manzoor Ahmad said that 12 vehicles were seized for plying in the area with out passes issued by competent authorities or permission from the government. The police warned people to follow the lockdown norms in letter and spirit or they would be dealt strictly as per law. The police appealed the people to cooperate with them to break the chain of COVID-19. “The measures have been put in place for the safety of people, Some fringe elements roam around unnecessary putting their and lives of other people in danger,” they said.
