PAMPORE: An bike-borne youth was killed in a road mishap near Galander Pulwama along the the Srinagar-Jammu highway on Friday after his bike collided with a car. According to SHO Pampore Manzoor Ahmad a collision occurred between car bearing registration number DL10CA/4145 and motorcycle number DL10SE/3449 near Chandhara crossing on the national highway near Galander Pampore, resulting into seriously injures to motorcyclist Suhail Abdullah Sheikh, son of Mohammad Abdullah, resident of Lalpora Chatlam Pampore.

The victim according to him was immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital Pampore by police and was later referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries, he said. After legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.A case under FIR Number 30/2020 under section 279, 337, 304-A IPC has been registered at Pampore Police Station and investigation started.
