Tral: A youth was shot dead by suspected militants in Tral town on Friday evening.
Shabir Ahmad son of Mohammad Sideeq Bhat at Gamraz Noorabad Tral, a vehicle dealer by profession, was shot at by militants outside his house, a police official said.
Dysp Operation Tral Aijaz Ahmad conformed that militants fired upon Bhat outside his house.
“He had two gunshot wounds, one in head and other in leg,” he added.
He was rushed to Sub-District Hospital Tral where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Soon after the incident, government forces reached to the spot and cordoned off the area.
