SRINAGAR: Within a day police recovered a newborn baby from the hands of kidnappers in the Srinagar city.
According to the police spokesperson, an investigation team from Rajbagh police station had swung into action after a complaint was registered about the missing baby from the maternity Lal Ded Maternity hospital.
“Police Station tracked the accused person and arrested him within 12 hours. The kidnapped new born baby was safely recovered. After completion of necessary formalities, the new born baby was handed over to his family,” said the police statement.
The police has arrested the kidnapper, and booked him under the law.
