BARAMULLA: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a youth along with grenade during a recruitment process for railway police.
The youth has been identified as Umar Faooq, resident of Rafiabad.
The youth, according to police, was also a part of the recruitment drive held at Kralhar area under the railways. During search, grenade was recovered from him, police said.
An FIR in this regard has been lodged in Baramulla Police Station.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown was observed in Baramula with most of the shops remaining closed in the town.
