Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani has rejected talks with New Delhi. Geelani said that the proposed dialogue offer is a mere tactic to buy time.
In a statement, issued here a spokesman of the faction quoting Geelani disclosed that on Thursday night an IB official proposed a dialogue between New Delhi and Syed Ali Geelani, however Geelani “refused to talk”.
“Geelani made it clear that Kashmir issue has turned into a flash point and unless India accepts its disputed nature, no progress is expected and horrors of war will haunt the people living in sub-continent,” the statement said.
