Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has expressed her concerns over the recent loss of three civilians in the ongoing exchange of fire along the border.
“Distraught to hear of three more civilians caught in the crossfire on the border,” She wrote on Twitter.
She further said that the people of the state are the worst victims of the conflict between two neighbors.
“The people of J&K are the worst victims of the acrimony between the two neighbouring countries. I pray that the hostility on the borders ends soon”.
Three civilians and a trooper were killed when the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire along the line of control and International border in Jammu division.
