LeT man held in Handwara, says Police

Handwara: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested one Over Ground Worker (OGW) of  Lashkar-e-Toiba LeT, in north Kashmir’s Handwara.

Police said that during a joint operation by 30 RR, Police and 92 BN CRPF one OGW of LeT was held. He has been identified as Aafaq Ahmed Bhat alias Abu Huraira son of Mohammad Akbar Bhat resident of Pandithpora.

Police claimed to have also busted two hideouts of the arrested OGW and have recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition which included a Pistol, two Pistol magazines one wireless set, two Ysms set, four Mobile set, one Ubgl thrower, one UBGL grenade two Ak47 Magazines, 105 Ak 47 rounds, two Compass, one binocular, one wire cutter, five battery chargers 48 units of batteries, made in Pakistan First Aid kit, medicines, one Perfume, two maps, one jacket and two bags, the spokesman added.
