Srinagar: Government forces on Monday evening launched a Cordon and search operation in Drabgam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that forces launched search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Sources said that heavy forces have been deployed in the area.

Search operation was going on when reports last came in.

Earlier a cordon and search operation was launched in Nazneenpora and Pashpora villages of Shopian district, Bellow village of Pulwama dist and Danter village of Anantng district, all of which ended peacefully.
