Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) commander Khalid Bhai has been killed in a brief gunfight with government forces in Rafiabad Ladoora village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to sources Khalid was commander of Jaish-e-Muhammad militant outfit.
The gunfight had raged earlier after Government forces launched a Cordon and search operation in Ladoora Rafiabad of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The forces had launched the search operation after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
As the search operation was intensified, the hiding militants opened fire on the forces, triggering a gun battle.
