The Government forces on Wednesday launched a cordon and search operation at Seer Jagir village of Tral tehsil in Pulwama district of Southern Kashmir.
As per police sources, the search operation was launched after receiving inputs about the presence of the militants in the area.
Sources said that the government forces in large numbers have reached the area and are conducting the operation in the area
The Operation was going on when last reports came in.
