Continuing its efforts to eradicate drug menace, police destroyed wild bhung in K-Koot and Charsoo villages of Awantipora area, today.
On the directions of SSP Awantipora Mohammad Zahid, a police party of Police Station Awantipora headed by SHO Awantipora Nazir Ahmad destroyed wild bhung spread on about 50 kanals of land at K-Koot and Charsoo villages of Awantipora.
It is pertinent to mention that police has destroyed wild bhung spread on 80 kanals of land during this month. The drive will continue in the district, a police spokesman said.
