Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in many villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district in the wee hours of Monday.
According to the sources, security forces led by 62 RR and SoG Shopian cordoned many villages of the district following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area. Sources said that many villages including Matribugh, Ronipora, Zoipora, Dangam, Wangam are under cordon and search operation is under way.
