To spread the message of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal flagged off a “walkathon” from District Office Complex Ganderbal which culminated at Town Hall Ganderbal today.
Students of various Government and private schools carrying exhibiting the importance of maintaining cleanliness under Swachh Bharat Mission passed through bazaar and streets of the town.
The walkathon was organized by JK Developmental Action Group (JK-DAG) in collaboration with Directorate of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir.
The ADDC, on the occasion, highlighted the importance of Swachh Bharat Mission. District Officers, Executive Officer Municipal Corporation Ganderbal, NGO President and other prominent citizen participated in the walkathon.
