Chaos prevailed in the city centre Lal Chowk when students clashed with forces on Tuesday afternoon as soon as the news about the killing of Lashkar commander Abu Dujana spread.
Students of SP Higher Secondary school and Kothi Bagh Higher Secondary school appeared in the city centre and pelted stones on Forces.
Initially, the students pelted stones on CRPF bunker outside Telegraph office. Later as soon as police retaliated, the students pelted stones on them triggering clashes. Police used tear gas shells to disperse the protesting students.
The clashes took place near Abi Guzar, Kothi Bagh Higher Secondary and Ganta Ghar areas of the city centre.
Meanwhile reports of student clashes also came from Amar Singh College Srinagar, GDC Kulgam and Shopian.
