Gunshots were heard near Gund Dachina village of Bandipora district of north Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Soon after this a joint team of Army’s 13 RR unit and police launched a search operation in the upper orchard areas of the village.
“A few gunshots were heard at around 2:45 pm near Gund Dachina village following which a search operation was launched in the upper orchard areas of the village,” a police official said.
