Government forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation in  in Karawea colony Bijibehara of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Acting on a specific input about the presence of militants, a joint team of RR, SOG and Police cordoned-off  the area.

Search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
