While adressing a press briefing, Lt Gen JS Sandhu, GoC 15 Corps said that the Amarnath yatra attack has been one reversal however we are not too worried about the situation becoming too alarming.
He said that the situation will remain under control, and our assessment is we will continue improving it.
“We will continue our operations against the militants and we will continue our efforts for improving the situation” he said.
When asked about Zahoor Ahmad Thokar who had left his unit and allegedly joined the militant ranks, Lt Gen JS Sandhu said that there is no confirmation of Zahoor Ahmad Thokar joining militant ranks yet and we are tracking him.
