Tyranny, oppression will yield nothing but shame: JKLF

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), while condeming the recent attacks in Trehgam Kupwara, Shupian, Pulwama, Tral, Budgam, Panthachowk and other places of Kashmir valley said that tyranny and oppression will yield nothing for the authorities.

JKLF leader, Noor Muhammad Kalwal in a statement issued here said that besides beating people, including men, women, children and elderly, the security forces arrested several, including shopkeepers and shifted them to some unknown incarceration center.

“Beating people, destroying people’s properties, crops, orchards and vehicles are a common practice of police and other forces. Raids have created a fear in the whole Valley.”

He said that yesterday he along with a delegation visited SMHS hospital where Irfan Ahmad and Javed Ahmad from Trehgam and Anees Ahmad and Sarah Bano from Shopian are admitted with eye injuries. “They were hit by the pellets used by troops while dealing with the protestors.”

Kalwal said that security forces caught hold of a driver at Panthachowk and without any provocation beat him to pulp. In a similarly manner they had beaten mercilessly young boys in Tral, who were later hospitalized.

“All this cannot deter the people of Kashmir from pursuing the path of resistance and we pledge to take forward the mission of our martyrs to its desired goal.”
