Sopore police claimed to have solved a theft case within two days and recovered a cash of Rs 2, 56000 (2 lakh and fifty six thousand ) and arrested the thief on Monday.
Police Post Fruit Mandi received a complaint from the owner of SFT traders fruit Mandi Sopore regarding the theft of cash from his shop at Fruit Mandi Sopore during the intervening night of 9/10 June 2017.
Accordingly, a case FIR number 153/2017 was registered under section 457,380 RPC and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of the investigation, it came into forth that one of the salesmen of SFT traders was involved in theft. The person has been identified as Gh. Mohammad Dar S/o. Ali Mohammad Dar R/o. Jutiyal Kupwara who was working with SFT traders from last 07 years.
