Shopian continues to observe shutdown against the killing of a student Adil Farooq of Ganavpora village of the district on Tuesday evening.
Sources said that Shopian and its surroundings were shutdown against the killing on the second day. The markets and business establishments are shut while public transport remains off the road, reports said.
Heavy deployment of paramilitary CRPF troopers and police was witnessed in the town.
