At least twelve Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured when their vehicle overturned during a stone pelting incident in South Kashmir’s Shopian district late on Wednesday evening, a New Delhi-based news gathering agency reported.

Sources said that the CRPF personnel have since been discharged from hospital after treatment.

Meanwhile, Shopian is observing shutdown against the killing of a student on Tuesday, when forces, during a cordon and search operation, fired at protesters in Ganavpora village of the district.
