Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) through its Enforcement wing Wednesday demolished eight illegal structures inside Dal Lake.
According to a statement issued here, the officials said that eight structures were demolished in the periphery areas like Bakhri Mohalla Dal, Anchari Mohalla Dal, Habak, Hathikhan, Jogivan, Rainawari and Dalgate area.
They said that the illegal construction material in the shape of cement was seized in the area of Guru Mohalla Abi Karpora and subsequently an FIR was lodged against the defaulter in Police Station Ram Munshibagh.
