Activists from Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) on Tuesday staged protest against the PSA slapped on DeM chief, Aasiya Andrabi and her close associate Fahmida Sofi.
The women activists of DeM assembled at Srinagar’s Press Enclave and chanted pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
The protesting activists were demanding urgent release of Aasiya Andrabi and Fahmida Sofi.
The activists were raising concerns over deteriorating health of DeM chief and Fahmida Sofi, and according to the statement said that “the health condition of the women leaders is getting deteriorated with each passing day.”
