India failed to weaken our resolve, says Malik

JKLF chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has returned from Delhi after “assuring them of using harsher techniques to deal with Kashmiris.”

Malik was commenting on the recent meeting of Chief Minister and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

“For seeking extension to his disastrous rule in Jammu Kashmir, chief minister has pledged to New-Delhi to use more harsh tactics to crush Kashmiri resistance and end it within three months,” Malik said

“From last ten months the people of Kashmir are witnessing killing, maiming, blinding, arresting, arrests, humiliations and threats.” He was quick to add that “despite all these harsh and oppressive methods, Indian state and their people in Kashmir have failed weaken the resolve of Kashmiris.”

Meanwhile, JKLF chairman has expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of mother of ex-Jamiat Ahlihadees president, Shaheed-e-Itehad-Millat, Moulana Showkat Ahmad Shah, who breathed her last yesterday evening.
