Awami Ithaad Party (AIP) Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed on Sunday accused army of deliberately leaking videos on social media with an intention to demoralize, suppress and humiliate Kashmiris.

“Since all the terrible and inhuman incidents have not taken place in public but inside Army camps and vehicles, so it is for sure that Army and other security agencies have recorded the incidents and then released them through social media”, said Er. Rasheed said.

He noted that no Jawan could have leaked video without the permission of his superiors. “It is part of strategy to send Kashmiris a tough message that we can go to any extent. Kashmiris are worse than slaves. Security agencies want to terrorize and demoralize Kashmiris through these videos”, he said Er.

Rasheed also ridiculed Farooq Abdullah for his demand to impose president’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir. “J&K is not a law and order problem. People are fighting for right to self-determination.

Though Mehbooba Mufti cannot be exonerated at any cost, one may ask Farooq Abdullah had he, his son or even any top separatist leader in power would the situation be better. Unless India ends atrocities nothing is going to change on the ground”, he said.
