Director General of Police (DGP), S P Vaid on Wednesday termed the loss of lives as painful and has disastrous effect on the families of deceased.

“Despite our repeated appeals to the youth not to expose themselves to the threat of violence and physical harm, unfortunately some incidents took place,” the DGP said. “It is once again appealed in right earnest that restraint must be exercised and police and other forces be allowed to do their mandated work,” he appealed.
