Srinagar: A three-day workshop on training of trainers of medical officers on routine immunization concluded Tuesday at Government Medical College here.
The trainers were trained on micro-planning, cold-chain logistic management, safe injection practices, biomedical waste management, adverse events following immunization, monitoring, surveillance and national immunization programme.
Dr. Yangchan Dolma, state EPI officer J&K, was coordinating the training programme which was inaugurated by Dr. Rafiq Ahmad Pampori, Principal/Dean, GMC, Srinagar.
The training workshop was conducted by Department of Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization, SEPIO J&K in collaboration with the Department of Community Medicine (SPM), GMC Srinagar with master trainers from both the departments.
