SRINAGAR: In wake of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the gun license holders of Pulwama, Shopian, Ganderbal and Kupwara districts have been asked to deposit their arms in the nearby police stations forthwith.
“In case anybody after a week’s time from issuance of this order is found in possession of licenses arms, action against the defaulter would initiated and the arms would be seized and the license cancelled,” an official spokesman said.
