JAMMU: Various administrative departments have missed several deadlines to furnish details of adhoc / contractual/ consolidated employees , the government said Wednesday.
“As per J&K Civil Services (Special Provisions) Act-2010, all administrative departments were asked to submit the details to the Member Secretary of the Empowered Committee within 60 days from the commencement of the Act. However, many departments failed to furnish the relevant information within the stipulated period and as such new cutoff dates were extended from time to time,” Minister for Planning and Development, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, said while replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Subash Chander Gupta.
The Minister said that despite these extensions, some departments have still left out the cases of adhoc / contractual/ consolidated employees, which they have furnished to the Empowered Committee beyond the cutoff date –January 15, 2013— for consideration. The Minister said that the matter is being examined.
