Yasin Malik pays tributes to Dr Ashai

SRINAGAR: JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday paid rich tributes to slain medico Dr Farooq Ahmad Ashai on his death anniversary.
Recalling Dr Ashai’s social, political and medical services for the people of Jammu Kashmir, Malik in a statement said Dr Ashai was a “man of great conviction, his services for the people of Jammu Kashmir are commendable and can never be forgotten.”
Malik has also expressed his heartfelt condolence on the demise of father of former PM of Pakistan-administered Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood. Malik expressed his condolences to Barrister Sultan on telephone, the statement said.
Meanwhile, a JKLF delegation led by Noor Mohammad Kalwal visited Batamaloo and participated in funeral payers of Ishtiyaq Ahmad Ganai who died in a road accident near Ramban on Sunday.
Another delegation, also led by Kalwal, visited Zaloora, Sopore and met with the family of Mohammad Shafi sheikh who was killed by troops this week.
