BARAMULLA: Locals of Kunzer on Sunday held a protest demanding registering of a murder case in death of a youth whose body was retrieved near a Nalla by police and locals on Saturday.
According to police, a body of youth Mudasir Ahamd Reshi of Tarashwali was recovered on Saturday near a Nalla and it was considered that he might have died due to cold.
However, on Sunday the locals demanded that a through probe be held into the circumstances that led to the death and post mortem be conducted.
Later the police station Kunzer registered FIR 04/2020 under Section 302 IPC and started investigation and conducting a postmortem of the deceased.
