Police Hospital Jammu organises Yoga session

JAMMU: Police Hospital Jammu on Sunday organised a yoga session in the hospital premises on the eve of the 12th International Yoga Day, with doctors, paramedical, and other staff members participating in the early morning session from 6:00 AM onwards under the guidance of ASI (M) Sameet Kumar.
The yoga exercises were carried out under this year’s theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” chosen by Union Minister of State for Ayush (Independent Charge) Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Government of India. Participants expressed happiness at being part of the session and asserted that they would try to incorporate yoga into their routine life to remain fit and healthy, contributing towards the overall welfare of society.
This was the fifth such yoga session conducted by Police Hospital Jammu, which remains committed to conducting such sessions in the future with great passion and enthusiasm.
Towards the conclusion of the session, the Medical Superintendent of Police Hospital Jammu, under whose leadership the yoga camp was organised, conveyed special thanks to all participants for their high response and for getting benefited by learning and practicing different yoga formations during the camp.
