BANDIPORA/KUPWARA: Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson (Minister of State) Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi on Saturday participated in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyaan 2026 for Bandipora district at Athwatoo Resort, Bandipora, and later addressed a similar programme for Kupwara district at Town Hall, Kupwara, stating that India is regaining its position as a world power and world leader under Prime Minister Modi’s vision, and that the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission is transforming India.
“With the vision of Prime Minister Modiji, India is regaining its position as a world power and a world leader. We are the largest growing economy in the world. ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission’ is transforming India, and we all are proud of being part of this great mission,” said Dr Darakhshan.
The programme, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party as part of a nationwide party programme, saw Dr Andrabi delivering an insightful address on the themes of the glorious history of the country and the development roadmap of the BJP for nation-building. Her speech highlighted the importance of understanding our rich eritage while working collectively towards inclusive growth, social progress, and a stronger future for all.
Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Engineer Ghulam Ali Khatana and State BJP General Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan also addressed the session.
Later, Dr Andrabi addressed a similar programme for Kupwara district held at Town Hall, Kupwara. In her address, she spoke about the significance of learning from our civilizational legacy and channeling it towards sustainable progress, social empowerment, and the vision of a stronger and more prosperous India.
Speaking to the media, Andrabi said that BJP believes in the glory of India and that the party cadre is committed to making Viksit Bharat a reality through the collective service of every citizen of the country. Prominent district leaders and office bearers from both districts participated in these programmes.
