SRINAGAR: Kashmir’s chief preacher Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Wednesday expressed solidarity with the families of the Pahalgam terror attack victims.

“On the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, we remember with deep sorrow those who lost their lives and stand in solidarity with their families, who continue to bear the pain of this tragedy, and unfortunately always will,” the Mirwaiz said in a post on X.

He said such incidents reopen the wounds of people of Jammu and Kashmir which has witnessed “similar tragedies”.
