Budgam: A teenager was injured during clashes in Pakherpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district during an ongoing gunfight in the area, reports said.
According to reports soon after the news about the encounter spread, youth hit the roads and started protesting.
The protesting youth attacked an army convoy heading towards Futlipora where a gunfight is underway, with stones which was retaliated by army through aerial firing.
During the clashes, 15-year-old Sinar Ahmad Mir sustained a bullet injury in his face.
He was rushed to Community Health Centre Pakharpora from where he was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
