SRINAGAR: (Jun 2) A man was killed and his wife injured after a tree fell on them amid strong winds in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district as rain lashed many parts of the Valley on Tuesday, officials said.
The incident took place in the Ganjiwara area of the south Kashmir district when a poplar tree fell on a CRPF bunker, injuring two civilians – Mohammad Rafiq and his wife Mareena from Brariangan.
No CRPF personnel were injured in the incident.
