Srinagar:Traffic movement was suspended on both sides of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Tuesday due to slippery road conditions following fresh snowfall.
An official said that the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been closed due to fresh snowfall in and around the Navyug Tunnel. No vehicular movement is being allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa.
Meanwhile, the Mughal Road, SSG Road and Sinthan Road are already closed due to adverse weather conditions.
People have been advised not to travel on these roads until they are completely restored and declared safe for traffic.
