Srinagar: Fresh snowfall in the Kashmir Valley on Tuesday disrupted flight operations at Srinagar International Airport, leading to the cancellation of eight flights.
Officials said the decision was taken due to adverse weather conditions and operational constraints at the airport.
“In view of the prevailing weather and operational limitations, certain flights scheduled for today have been cancelled,” an airport official said.
Passengers have been advised to remain in touch with their respective airlines for updated information and alternate travel arrangements.
Snowfall was reported from Srinagar and several other parts of the Valley, while road traffic also remained affected at a few places due to slippery conditions.
