36 granted in-situ upgradation
Jammu: In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police Headquarters announced the promotion of 866 Constables to the rank of Selection Grade Constable (SGCT), along with in-situ upgradation for 36 Constables.
The promotion orders were issued on Saturday, marking a major milestone in recognizing the dedication and service of these personnel, a police spokesperson said in a statement issued here.
The promotions followed a meticulous evaluation of service records, ensuring transparency and adherence to the norms set by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
