Sopore Police on Monday claimed to have busted a gang of thieves involved in lifting of motorcycles in Sopore and its outskirts since 3 months by arresting two persons.
According to a statement, Sopore Police said that we have arrested two persons who were identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone and Nazir Ahmad both residents of Nowpora Jageer Baramulla and four motorcycles were recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, station house officer Sopore Mudasir Geelani said that “during sustained questioning both accused admitted that they have stolen motor bicycles from different parts of Sopore”
He added that “more recoveries are expected from them”.
