Farzan Mohi Ud Din’s Breeze Tissue factory creates employment opportunities for youth
PAMPORE: Farzan Mohi Ud Din, a class 12th student from Drangbal Pampore, has taken a commendable step towards entrepreneurship by establishing a tissue paper factory named Breeze Tissue. This initiative not only marks the first tissue paper manufacturing unit in Pampore Tehsil but also provides employment opportunities for local youth.
Speaking to Kashmir Reader, Farzan shared his motivation behind starting the factory alongside his studies. “I received a lot of support from my family in setting up this unit. Along with my studies, I thought I should start my own business so that both my studies and business can continue simultaneously,” he said.
Breeze Tissue offers a variety of tissue paper products, including printed, non-printed, hard, and soft tissue papers. This diverse range is expected to meet the different needs of the local market and beyond.
Farzan highlighted the importance of engaging in productive activities to combat the increasing issue of drug abuse among the youth. “My message to the youth is to start a business alongside their studies. When they stay busy with both education and work, they will stay away from drugs and other bad activities,” he emphasized.
He also acknowledged the challenges faced by young people today, particularly the lack of family support for many. Farzan urged his peers to take advantage of various government schemes available in sectors like Agriculture and Horticulture.
“Governments have introduced numerous schemes in departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, and other departments. It’s an opportunity to benefit from these schemes; it’s better than being unemployed,” he advised.
Farzan’s initiative has already created employment for four local boys, demonstrating the positive impact of his venture on the community. He encourages other youths to consider entrepreneurship over the highly competitive government job market.
“Government jobs are very competitive, which is why I have taken this initiative. You too can take your own initiative. There are many businesses out there; start the one you like the most,” he said.
