KISHTWAR: A joint Market checking team today recovered Rs 38,800 fine from erring traders during a day long drive conducted in view of the upcoming Festival of Deepawali and Urs Shah Asrar-Ud- Din Sahib.
The intensive market checking was conducted by the designated market enforcement team, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Akhtar Hussain Qazi on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma.
A team of officers comprising Tehsildar , Pramood Kumar, Assistant Controller Legal Metrology, Food Safety Officer, I/C TSO, Team of Municipal Committee and Police Party inspected the quality and rate lists of Vegetables, Fruits, Sweets and other essential commodities.
