Srinagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested 12 more persons, including Abdul Majid Ganie, Bilal Ahmad Halwai, Irshad-ul-Hamid Hakeem, Shahnawaz Ahmad Khan, Ali Mohammad Bhat, Shabir Ahmad Malik, Mohammad Akram Bhat, Mushtaq Ahmad Rathi, Sameer Ullah Rather, Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat, Zaker Hussain, and Sanjay Datta, in connection with the alleged Fire & Emergency Services recruitment paper leak scam.
The arrests were made during the investigation of FIR No. 01/2025. According to sources, the accused belong to Budgam, Anantnag, Bandipora, Pulwama, Doda, and Jammu and were arrested on July 21, 2026, the ACB said in a statement issued here.
The investigation is ongoing as the ACB continues to probe the alleged recruitment scam and identify others involved.
